I love Fall. The falling leaves, the warm beverages, the food, the changing temperatures- bring it on! With leaves on my mind and fall collections popping up everywhere, I grabbed one of my favorite autumnal polishes to review today. This gorgeous burgundy jelly with red, orange, and silvery glitters is “Leaf of Faith,” from KBShimmer.
First, the formula on this is remarkable. I’ve been experimenting with a lot of sheer jellies lately, so I thought I’d go ahead and put down a layer of red “undies” for this- totally unnecessary. In two coats, you’ve got full-on-opaque burgundy with all the fabulous squishy depth you could ask for. This is the jelly you really want all jellies to be like. It actually looks like the bottle when it’s on your nails, and that’s something I can really get behind.
For me, KBShimmer is one of those great reliable brands. They release seasonal collections with fun, unique polishes in a wide assortment of colors and finishes. Their turnaround time and responsiveness is great and polishes arrive fast. They’re at a great price point for swaps or gifts (okay…or really easy to justify self-presents). Plus the KBShimmer site has tools, vinyls, and some bath/body products, so it’s a one stop shop. “Leaf of Faith” is in stock right now (and the newest Fall collection, too!), so you can pick it up without any problems or waiting.
What’s your favorite part of Fall? Do you have a favorite autumnal polish?
