Valentine’s Day Nail with Essie and Liquid Sky Lacquer

Hello all and happy Valentine’s Day!

Regardless how you feel about the holiday itself, it does usually spawn lots of cute, themed nail polishes. I have one such of those today- Liquid Sky Lacquer’s “Heart Throb” over top Essie’s “Play Date”.

It also worked nice as the base for the multi-colored heart glitter in “Heart Throb”. “Heart Throb” has a fun combination of small hearts (small enough that they don’t stick up, even on my tiny nails) in red, pink, and purple. It also has white, red, and pink hexes in small, smaller, and smallest sizes. Judging from my fingertips, there’s also some tiny holographic bits in there too.

I did only one layer of “Heart Throb” over two layers of “Play Date”. It did require some fishing around to get the hearts out, but that may have been because I had the mini size.

I think their BigCartel is down at the moment, but check out their Facebook page– I think they are launching new colors tomorrow, Feb 15th!
