Crows Toes “Bulls#!t Detector”

This is the neon to end all neons. I didn’t even know polish could be this bright. I love it. I could direct traffic with these fingers.

I was obsessed with CrowsToes “Bulls#!t Detector” from the moment I saw the first swatches- and I feel even more in love from the first coat. It is an eye-searingly bright coral neon. Depending on the light, it either leaned more PINK or more ORANGE (it’s an all caps type of color). My boyfriend suggested I should pose with a traffic cone for the swatch pics. My camera could barely control itself. In addition to the NEON color, this also has small holographic glitter and is textured. I really like how it all comes together and wearing it is a bold, fun experience.

This is three thin coats. The formula is a little thinner than I was expecting, but I actually like that. I’ve struggled with the formulas on other neons being thick or patchy, but this was totally on the other end of the spectrum.

I adore this polish, and really get a kick out of how bold it makes me feel when I’m wearing it. It’s the perfect polish to make me feel fab and gutsy in the trendy summer clothing items that are sitting in my closet waiting for me to be cool enough to wear them (romper, I’m looking at you). I picked this up from Llarowe when it first stocked and it came in just a few days. Yes, there are lots of awesome neons out right now, but the glitter and texture really make this unique. I 100% recommend it!

  1. Wow, that looks amazing! I’ve been feeling a little overwhelmed with all the neons, and I like that this one is a little different, not to mention the awesome name, lol!

  2. That is seriously eye searingly bright! Im kind of digging the texture and kind of not and Im not sure why. I think I might just be too used to the Pixie Dusts and this is unique compared to them. Great photos by the way.
