Hey all! Today I’ve got a second polish from Pepper Pot Polish’s Autumn/Winter Collection. This beauty is “Sweater Weather,” a creamy taupe shade with incredible red shimmer. On my pale skin tone, the taupe leans cooler, but I adore the contrast of the warm shimmer peeking through.
Look at that macro! The creamy base just screams out to me for nail art. (Don’t you worry…it’s coming in a few days- you can check out my Instagram for a sneak peek!) The formula on this is fantastic. For me and my obsession with extra coats, this was 1-1.5 coats. One thick coat or two wafer thin coats (just a wafer thin slice!) will be all you need. I love that this is super pigmented, but dries nicely, so it is nice and thin on the nail- perfect for adding the extra couple of coats you’ll have with some stamping or vinyls nail art.
You can find “Sweater Weather” and other Pepper Pot shades on their Etsy store. In addition to nail polish, Pepper Pot also has fragrances, cuticle oils, lip glosses, and eyeshadows.
Bonus: until December 18th, every $50+ order will get an awesome free gift! The gift is “Feeling Naughty,” a sparkly chocolateley red polish (think chocolate covered maraschino cherries) and a cabernet-colored deep plum lip gloss with a hit of sparkle. Both are wrapped up in an organza bag (great for gifting…or keeping. I’m generally a big fan of keeping).

Contrasting shimmer always gets me right in the polish feels.
